Xbox 360 Sells 1.1 million units in December

With all the hype about the Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3 as being the new systems this holiday season, Microsoft snuck in through the back door and stole all the thunder, selling 1.1 million units in December. Saony and Ninetndo, combined didn't sell that many units in December (PS3 - 490,000 & Wii = 604,000).

yeah but the 360 had a whole year to stock pile the system for the christmas season next christmas the ps3 will be the big thing i just traded my 360 and all my stuff in for my ps3 the ps3 package with its blu ray and all is just too great of a deal ...just hope blu ray wins the format war

NPD, a retail tracker for the gaming market in the U.S., has released its results for October 2009: Nintendo leads the roost, with Wii at number one and DS at number two. PlayStation 3 takes third position on the hardware sales chart, followed by Xbox 360 at number four.

who cares how many turdboxes were sold you get what you pay for and not everyone has the coin to spend on a ps3 that is by far the better system
