What do people think about the new ps3 slim? When everyone has got these new ones ill be proud to say i have the original.

Suprisingly Most Stores are still selling the originals. At least all the stores I've been too.

Just got my hands on the Slim at Xmas. Not too slim when you compare it to the size reduction that the PS2 went through; however, definitely smaller. About 2/3 the size of the original, to be honest. I love it. No problems so far and REALLY like the "mashable" power buttons. For some reason, the "finger-sensing" buttons just didn't do well for me.

I have a "Slim", i prefer it the original tbh..uses less power and not as shiny.

This is why when i purchased my ps3 i went with a refurbished ps3 40 gig because i didn't need the backwards compatibility i have the same warrenty as a new ps3 and i have a year extended warrenty on it as well.

so i am good.

I noticed that on the slim decks that i played on before there was loading issues on several decks i saw i was playing guitar hero III and on my fat deck the game loads quick and nice.

However on my freinds thin slim ps3 the loading time has gone to pot it took us nearly 1 hour for the game to load and install a update.
