What are the launch games in Europe?

Do not count on playing games like Halo for the Playstation 2 because it will not work. Sony announced that 300 games from the pS2 are not compatible with PS3. Microsoft will release a downloadable patch that will enable these games to be played but are saying some games may or may not work with the ps3. I think PS3 is going to bomb out quick if there is alot of problems with it. Lots of people are selling machines on ebay and stuff for 3x wat the worth is. So I think that will force the price down to stay competative with the prices on ebay

How much are ps3 games. I remembered when PS2 came came out they were like 50 to 60 bucks. I imagine with the new system it would be like 60 to 70 dollars per game except the Kids games that might be 20 to 30 dollars. I think the games are going to be high though. Is it true that the ps3 can play all 3 system games? Then whats so special about the system?

Why on earth are like half of the games sports related... To me these seem like the easy titles to release and not much behind them.... where is GT4 or Burnout... They need to have a better selection of launch titles for such a big monster system like this! For $600 I expect there to be more available. I guess I will just have to be patient!

Actually the demand for sports titles has been higher then the action games. Most rather play the sports then play action. EA sports has been rampid about marketing NBA 2007 since playstation 3 came out. Madden 2007 has been 2nd in EA sports list to market. I am not saying that action are not wanted but heck sports are more in the hotseat right now then action sports. Games like Halo and stuff work good for hard core gamers.
